EVENT FLOWERS & DESIGN WORK

 

One of the most rewarding feelings in the world is to walk away from a wedding knowing that our team helped create something extraordinary and memorable for a couple on one the most important days of their lives.

We approach wedding work with the same passion with which we grow our flowers; we are seeking to create an aesthetic experience of beauty to send out into the world.  Each wedding is very unique unto the individuals involved and we love creating a framework for our floral design around what each couple envisions for their day.

What makes our work unique is that almost all of our design elements are grown right here on our farm, making our arrangements authentic and heartfelt.  We intimately know each flower we use in every arrangement having taken it from seed to harvest; we like to think this intimacy and love comes across in our work and makes it all the more special for everyone involved.   

 

We work with flowers by the seasons.  If you are particular about specific flowers, we may not be the florist to work with as it's more about selecting the best of what is blooming in our fields at any given time.   

 

We are a sustainable farm so you can feel really, really great knowing your flowers are chemical free and not imported from another country, and how much you are reducing the carbon footprint of your wedding by using a local farm. 

 

The sooner we are booked for your wedding, the better we can plan and plant according to your palette and vision.  That said, we can accomodate most color themes at most times.

FULL SERVICE WEDDINGS

 

Our full-service weddings express the best of what we do.  We work closely with each couple to design and create a beautiful, seasonal floral display according to their taste and preferences.  This option includes a consultation, design collaboration, delivery, and on site set-up and break down including any installations.  We act just as a florist, making sure everything on site is as perfect as possible.  Full service pricing for 2023-2024 weddings start at $10K.  We are only looking to do 1-3 full service weddings per year to ensure that your wedding gets all the attention it needs to make every detail perfect.  We will only be taking full service weddings from May-Oct 15th.

 

 

A LA CARTE WEDDINGS

Our farm and design team also offers an a la carte wedding option where we arrange some or all of the bridal party and reception florals but do not set up, break down, or do any on site installations.  Flowers are typically picked up at the farm or at the Durham Farmers' Market, though we can deliver for an additional fee.  This is a more economical option and does not include a face to face consultation.  A la carte pricing starts at $2k.    

 

 

DIY & BUCKET WEDDINGS

 

  We often provide buckets for clients who want to do all the arranging themselves using the best of what is local.  We charge $110 for a 2-3 gallon bucket from May through September, and you should be able to get 6-8 mason jar size arrangements from one bucket depending on your arranging style.  We can usually do color themes on the buckets but do not allow for choosing specific flowers received.

 

 

 

SPECIAL EVENTS

 

We create arrangements for special events throughout the year.  Birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, graduations, corporate events, holiday parties and more.  Please email to inquire about special events.
