Quince is a true harbinger of spring, blooming early in the spring or late winter around the time of most daffodils. The Double Take series is an amazing line of quince as it is thornless and puts on quite the spring show with hundreds of flowers covering the shrub for a solid month in the spring. We have the orange and the peach in our garden and both are magical. I've found there is no other woody cut that has a line quite like quince and it's a true stunner in a cut flower bouquet. Love it love it love it and it's easy to grow. Site in full sun or part shade. Heat and drought tolerant, we rarely give ours any water. Deer proof as well. This plant is patented so no propagation of any kind is allowed.
